It’s Smart to Defrag

Over time, files on your hard drive become more and more fragmented as the physical locations of the data gets moved around. Over time, this can have a negative impact on the performance of your computer. That’s why it’s a good idea to ‘defrag’ your hard drives on a regular basis.
Defragging rearranges your files so your hard drive spends less time looking for files. That can make your programs and files open faster. Not to mention, it reduces the wear and tear on your hard disks. Hard Drives have lots of moving parts. When the hard drive dies, so does your data!
Windows comes with a defrag program. Sadly, it’s not very good and it’s mind numbingly slow. What you need is something that’s fast, reliable and most important, free! As luck would have it, SmartDefrag is all of these things.
What I like most about SmartDefrag is the fact that you can leave it on all the time. It does it’s work in the background when your computer is idle and it automatically turns itself off when your pushing your computer harder. It’s also much faster than the defragger that comes with Windows. Not to mention, it does a far better job of keeping your running at peak efficiency.
As always, it’s tested Spyware and Adware free. Give it a try. You’ll like it.
